Pressing the metal dome is a momentary switch contact that becomes a normally open switch when used with printed circuit boards, flexible circuits, or thin films. They are placed on the printed circuit board by attaching transparent film with foot buckles. In a stationary state, the metal dome switch is located on the outer contact of the main pad. When briefly pressed, they come into contact and make contact with the secondary path, thus closing the circuit. Many different shapes and strengths can be used to suit your specific application.
